I would like to go to PostgreSQL, from my actual Mysql installation (without loosing my informations, articles, users registered, etc).

After working on my first Drupal site for a period of several months, it was almost finished, and I decided to upgrade to the latest version. Obviously, disaster struck.
Stupidly enough, I forgot to disable the modules and put the site offline, al though I'm not sure this has anything to do with the problem.

I'm running Drupal 6.4 on a Elefante Free Scripts installation at Sysox. My PHP Version is 5.1. Installing Drupal is fine. I have an account with Lynda.com and I am following the video instructions exactly as told to update drupal to 6.12. However, no matter how many times I try this once I update the files I get a server error. It won't let me do anything. I can't even run the update.php file.

how can I give the user permit to upload files to his account but only up to 2 gb?

I cant find No TAG , Multiple Select ,Required Check boxes in my Taxonomy settings, I can find my weight drop down but other three check boxes are not there. help me find this

I am having some difficulty with the Ubercart module. In numerous places throughout the store administration/configuration pages, mention is made of fulfilment types, with a select box - Small Package and Store Default. I cannot find anywhere within the Ubercart administration pages to add more fulfilment types - e.g. envelope, large package.

I have few different content types. I use FCK editor for each of them. But I dont want to use it for my wiki content type.
So when I go to content management there is this info...
The ID for excluding or including this element is: edit-description - the path is: admin/content/node-type/wiki

Now when I go to FCK admin side there is text box where you can enter path for excluding fck editor and I put this data path....

I am using slider module to create a slider effect (coda slider) on my home page. Currently i need to click on the tabs to switch between slides.I was looking for a solution while moue over the tabs the slide should change. Is there any way to accomplish this.

1: I have a website hosted on wordpress and want to transfer it into Drupal but i am not having any information regarding the same. Can anyone suggest me that how will i transfer this ?

2: Apart from this i also want to know that as i am going to transfer/shift my domain hosting from Godaddy to Limedomains.com, so in this all my applications will automatically transfer/export to the new hosting server or is there is any manually updation will be needed

i am using emfield module-for video uploads from third party(like dailymotions,youtube...etc) ....video is uploading easily but wen i try to save the thumbnail image for the video it dont works....so the problem i am getting is i am not able to save the thumbnail image for the video.....and also wen i am having 3 video fileds and i browse the images for every video field and try to register the node the 3 videos get save..and also the thumbnail also get save but only for the last video....
Plss help me ...

We have drupal 6.10. We need to install 6.11 and 6.12 versions. Can we just jump to 6.12 without installing version 6.11 (does 6.12 include 6.11 in it? ) or do we need to install each version in the version order it was received (first doing 6.11 and then doing 6.12?). I'm guessing we need to do 6.11 and once that is done, then upgrade to 6.12. Can someone confirm? Thanks!!

i've created forum a navigator item and i've enebled it in the navigator. now i dont know how to create topics and containers:(.

Hi all when i click on term page it open but under the terms detail parent page content also display but i don't need it.
my need is i have four categories a,b,c,d when anybody click on a all a related content display than user can choose b or c from same page.how it possible.,,,,

Im looking for a theme that allows a bit more "blocks" instead of the usual 1-3 column approach. Yes, there are several very nice themes that arrange things nicely with using columns, but I think most will recognize what Im describing as "blocks" and im not talking about Drupal blocks per say. The type of themes that I see which have this type of layout are typically wordpress blogs or something similar.

Any suggestions ?

The module is great, but the layout is inconsistent from Group-to-Group.

Hi, I'm having a problem with calendar-pop widget.
I've created new date and in it's content I have a link to a page on my site.
Which works fine.

But when I view the date in the calendar-pop, it adds "calendar-date" to my url path.
How do I stop this from happening?

When i create a node in node have images and upload file video.
Now i want when i upload file then file remote to a server other.
Because i have to second hosting.
I only want one hostting have soure drupal and hostting other have file upload.

I'm using drupal 6, some wysiwyg editor with imce, but eventhough it appears in the text area, when you save it, the picture seems to be disabled, what seems to be wrong? Do I have to enable something?

I have created a new content type. Suppose: xyz

What I want whenever somebody will create+edited "xyz" content type the subscribed users of that content type(xyz) will get email notification message.

I have tested Trigger module but in Trigger module I cannot set that xyz content type. I can set only the all content type. How can I select specific content type or is there any other solution. Please advise me.

I tried this using views, but don't know how to filter according to the current online user.

I don't know how to troubleshoot this but the problem is pretty simple:

I updated from 6.10 to 6.12 but Drupal is not always detecting the upgrade.

On .com/admin/reports/updates, Drupal says I have 6.10 and need to update to 6.12
On .com/admin/reports/status, on top it says I have version 6.12 and lower it says there are major updates available.

I am new to drupal

For my project, I need to display different left menu for different pages.

I have a dropdown menu on header, If the user clicks any one of the links in dropdown menu, the left bar menu should change for each dropdowns.

Is it possible to display different left bar on different dropdowns.

Is anyone please guide me to fix the problem.
