Is there any module that will redirect my visitors to another page (like thank you page) after he/she download the file like zip or exe file?

Currently when my visitors click the link to a zip or exe file it will download the file automatically.

i have drupal on my doman (xxx.com) and a second install of drupal on a subdomain (sub.xxx.com)

now from my subdomain drupal site i would like to place a views block on the front page to display data from my main drupal site.

Is this possible?

on the main drupal site i have a views that displays the latest mp3 uploads and their image etc in a views block, on my subdomain i want the same view block with the exact same data from the main site

is this possible? iv been searching everywhere and i cant find anything

I installed drupal a few days ago, and got a plethora of modules downloaded, but since yesterday the ftp times out and shows a 404 error everytime I try to download any module. Anyone else experiencing this problem, any help?

I use the planning option to unpublish a node on a specific date/time. What I would really want is to remove it from the frontpage and still remain published.

I have looked at the actions and the triggers modules, but cannot find a proper solution.

Any ideas?

Just wondering if someone can help me do some diagnosis?

I have a D7 site with Ubercart and approx 10 other modules running... When I go in to the modules admin screen and press save configuration I get the error message that the memory has been exhausted. It seems the page view is using 67mb.

How do I systematically go through and identify what is causing this big use of memory?

Firstly let me say, thank you Drupal and Community. I've been a graphics designer and HTML/CSS coder for the past 6 years and have done a lot of custom jobs, but never have had such an amazing and unrestricted experience with a CMS. I can't wait to design some themes for you all :)

I tried to change the block theme but nothing happens

For example, banned the index story type.

I want to let people search for profiles and list the compatible ones and their information based on how they filter it. For example, maybe someone wants to create a list of people that are aged 20-30 and male, they can enter that in and it will filter out anyone who doesn't fit this criteria and provide a list of the ones that do. Is there anything that would allow me to do this in drupal? Or possibly a module?

When I put multiple email addresses into a Rule (in this particular case it's in Drupal Commerce), do I separate them with a semi-colon (;)?

I am running a site for a football team I am training, where each player can sign up for events etc. The players are 8 years old and the signing up for events are therefore maintained by the parents. Each time I invite players for a new event I send the players an email.

My problem is that not all the parents live together and it is only one of the parents that receives emails from the system, that is the drupal users primary email.

I have installed the Domain access module and followed the instructions in INSTALL_QUICKSTART.txt.

I have added a new domain (test.domain.com) and updated DNS and httpd. However when I try to visit that new domain the "Select an installation profile" page is displayed (http://test.domain.com/install.php). The default domain works fine (http://my.domain.com).

I have a Ubercart Marketplace up and running. It's really great ... but because of some European and German rights and special features I would like to ask some questions.
Of course I did a lot of research before questioning, but some things I didn´t get until now:

I don't like the log in block.
My sites not really for a user community.

I simply want a link to log in at the top.
This I did with a direct link to the user log in page.

I want that link to disappear once the user is logged in much the same way that the Log out appears when some one is logged in.

Is there an easy way to do this?

How would I go about generating a list of the latest 5 downloads of each user to display on their profile pages?

I'm using Drupal 7 and have a file field for multiple uploads and I need a list of the last 5 node titles content was downloaded from and the date. I presume I need to get this information into views to style but I'm not sure how to gather the information to begin with.

I've tried Download Count but the module doesn't seem to work and I can't seem to find a statistic or tracker module that can do this?

everytime i try to upload a picture and then hit save i get this error.

I want to have a section of my site that requires an authorization code to be entered before granting access the page. Each page would have a separate auth code. If user visits the page I want to check the auth code usage (in tbl?) to see if it has been input yet, if no ->goto auth page code page, if yes -> proceed to page.
I've never setup something like this so, is this a rule, trigger, module? How do I set only a section of the site to have this option?
I'm asking for some info from anyone that has done something like this before.

As a beginner, I would like to know if what I say is right.
I have several videos that I would put on my Drupal website.
Each video would be on a page, always with the same information :
- video
- director
- musics used
- ...

How can I use Drupal to generate these pages ? Here is what I think, tell me if it's wrong :
- I create a new type of content, like "video"
- I inform the various fields, as "video url", "director", "musics used", etc.
And after that ? Do I have to use Views ?

Strangely, when I'm logged in as an admin I can see the images and text that should be there. I'm not sure what I did, as this website was built by somebody else and I'm brand new to how it works (and brand new to Drupal).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

How to make a content type private to an organic group in Drupal 7?

I want to create a content type where nodes are only visible to members of a specific group. I thought the Group Audience field would do this, but if I set the Group Audience of a node to foo the node is still visible to people who are not members of foo.

Does this functionality require custom coding?
