I am developing a travel agent website and need a custom drupal module (drupal 6, portable to drupal 7) providing an online billing system to invoice commissions to hotel and activity providers.
Some of the requested features are:
- Tracking of customers/suppliers accounts and generating invoices on a) a time basis or b) a total amount cap basis, whatever gets hit first.
- fully customizable email templates for billing, reminders, etc..
The billing system will be used to invoice our commissions to multiple affiliates - not to the actual travelers. Customers pay directly to the providers when they check in, and we collect our commissions from these suppliers on a monthly basis (or whenever the total commission amount due exceeds a threshold).
Our online booking system is based on an external (to drupal) web application called touristway (www.touristway.com). Touristway has a flexible XML-API that allows to parse information to drupal. When a booking is operated in touristway, data needs to be sent to drupal and automatically integrated in the billing system.
