In running a site upgrade from drupal-6.15 to drupal-6.16, it has been brought to my attention recently that the books are not available on the site anymore...
More accuratly, the pages are still there, and at the correct url's... just the actual books don't exist anymore... When I just tried to create the books again, in order to resolve this, they don't show up in the list at admin/content/book.
I've already tried clearing my cache, and confirming there are no updates left to be executed on update.php.
One of the nodes for a book outline happens to be node 28. When I'm on that page, I see an outline tab, which links to node/28/outline but no books are listed there, and this is regardless of how many times I try to make a new book for it - both on that page and on node/28/edit... and this is with the first user so permissions are not an issue...
Any advice on how to handle this case of vanishing books?
The urls are the same as they were... and using pathauto, I made it so each book child is underneath the parent, so I can repair this, if I can get the books to create and show up on the list of book outlines...
