On one of my sites, I've created a new content type. The new content type in the past has allowed me to upload files using the File Attachments method as well as a CCK filefield that I added to the content type. As of today, neither works.
The files do upload - I can see them on the server and they are in the files table in the database. In the case of the CCK field, I can see the first file that is uploaded in the table designated for cck filefield uploads - but none of the files uploaded after. For one reason or another, they just don't show on the node after they've been uploaded. As far as I know, I'm current with all of the patches and core upgrades.
If I manually put an entry into the CCK filefield table (in this case content_field_student_forms), the file shows up on the node. It's as if drupal isn't writing to all of the tables it needs to upon uploading the file.
I've also checked permissions to make sure that everyone has the appropriate permissions.
This also appears to only happen with one particular content type. I should also say, that this content type has access controls enabled. Although, even as the administrator user, I still can't see the uploaded files.
