Read more »Time is flying by. There is now only 7 weeks to go to DrupalCon San Francisco! I'm really looking forward to it I have to admit. Although I've visited the US a fair bit, I've never been to the west coast, not to mind say San Francisco. Dermot is coming over with me this time, and we're planning on taking an extra week to travel around and do some sightseeing. We're also going to visit a good friend of mine, Aimee, in LA, and then travel back up to Sacremento to visit other friends.

I developed the site: Myjewishvegas.com (in maintenaince mode but prety complete). Anyway I'm moving on from the site because I'm too busy to do this and am helping the owners find someone new. We're looking for a freelancer, but a company might do well. Preferably west coast so that communication is quic.
Your tasks will to be to continue to evolve the site, update with new features. The site is farily complex in terms of grasping the backend. Lot's of views, lots of custom theming. But should take a seasoned vet very little time to get it.

I operate a fairly large Drupal based website (700K+ pages) that requires some work with Views and CCK. There is lots of data that needs to be displayed in particular ways to build out new sections of the site.
You will also need to know how to work with geo-targeting integration and pulling information from sites like DbPedia to add to the new layouts that will be created.

DrupalCampLA is the annual FREE conference organized by the LA Drupal user group, and hosted by UC Irvine this year, to unite and improve the Drupal Development Community on the West Coast. The event will be taking place August 8-9th 2009, from 8am-7pm each day, and will feature three large tracks and two community rooms for BoFs (birds of a feather).
