maybe my request/idea is crazy I don't know.
I was wondering if it is possible to create a module that will pretty much put the theme image into a sprite. or the frontpage into a sprite
or even a panel page images into a sprite.
you see for example on the drupal admin when you go to performance tab, you can optimize the css, compresse the file etc...
is it possible to have something like and can be like sprite the page etc....
it is clear that sprite can reduce the http request and lead to tremendous speed gain (check yahoo.com)
