Just made a test install of d7. Looks good to me. Really some improvements about d6.
Especially the included image handling.
Let's se how much fun this will bring when I migrate my site, that uses several (image) modules.
But that's not the point at the moment.
First I thought that a deleted image is not deleted in the file system. But it is.
But .. there is another thing. By default you have 1 image in front of the body in an article.
Under Structure / Content Types / Manage Fields you can set the "Number of values" e.g. to three if you want to have up to three images. And you can add another image field for images displayed after the body.
Now, you uploaded your images in a hurry and one of the images should appear after the body is uploaded to the first image field, so it's shown in front of the body. The only way to get it there is to delete it from the first image field and upload it a second time. Is there another solution thinkable? Just drag it from one field to another, just like you can set the order within the field?
Until now there is nothing like a "Media Library" to reuse images in other posts/articles?
And what would be the most elegant way do display images inline in the text/body where I wanted them individualy? Do I have to switch Text format to "Full HTML" and seit images tags?
regards
