We are thinking about using the Organic Groups (with Panels in Drupal 7) to build a community site, consisting of a set of inter-related groups (with some members of the community having full access, and some having restricted access or no access to particular groups).
We've tried following the bundled instructions, but found they were not newbie friendly.
We are now looking for a consultant to demonstrate the set up and use of Organic Groups under Drupal 7. We would be happy to pay for your time, and expect you to produce a simple demo site, and then be able to talk us through the Organic Groups & Panels set-up process and configuration options.
We would gladly contribute some 'newbie' instructions back to the Drupal community, sharing what we have learned, and where we went wrong, when we tried to follow the existing instructions ourselves.
If things go well this may lead to ongoing work, as we are hoping to build productive working relationships with a few reliable Drupal consultants.
