We’re looking for a web developer to join our web technologies team to work on Drupal-based web projects. You will work closely with the existing web team on a variety of research, programming and website support .
You will need to have a highly skilled technical and creative mind with the ability to provide solutions to new challenges. You should be passionate about taking a fledging site and building on its current success with your own ideas to develop and grow the business concept. Any previous experience in developing websites for high volumes of traffic and high rates of memberships will be to your advantage.
Responsibilities include:
* Working with a team to create compelling and cutting-edge websites and web applications
* Custom programming and web application development
* Troubleshooting of existing client sites
* Contributing ideas and efforts toward internal projects and working as part of a team to find solutions to various problems (i.e. development platforms, documentation, etc.)
Required Skills:
• 3 years of commercial Drupal experience and 5+ years experience in developing and supporting public facing websites using content management systems
• Experience of Ubercart a big advantage
• Must have very strong PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, MYSQL skills
• Must be proficient in Webservices, XML, XSLT
• PHP Certification an advantage
• Must demonstrate a good level of practical and theoretical knowledge in building and maintaining of high volume content managed websites and applications
• Detailed understanding of software development methodologies and industry best practice / standards as they apply to Drupal
