Hello there,
For those that are willing to help, I am so green to Linux and creating servers so yes I am a noob when it comes to this stuff. Currently, I am tasked with creating a test Drupal LAMP Stack site since my company is moving from .NET framework to an entire Drupal based database (Too many Drudge hits crash the site on .NET).
I understand that the installation of Drupal LAMP Stack can be done through various different methods, my question is which is the simplest method to follow? This company is a news organization, that needs to put up video, pictures, and articles - hundreds of them a day.
These installations are different ways to the same end, I would like some input on which installation would work best for the needs my company is going to need.
1 - Command Line installation through Ubuntu Server
2 - GUI Installation + Command Line installation with Ubuntu Desktop (Local Host testing?)
3 - TURNKEY LAMP Stack Server installation CD (Apparently everything comes somewhat pre-configured)
I have done some research, and tried installing it in method 1 and 3, but Linux is really new to me and I get stuck easily through all the command lines.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
