I have installed the gmap module and the location module. Got the Gmap api key, etc. When creating a node that has the gmap location enable i enter the address (street, city, state, zip) save the node and get nothing. the only way i can get a marker on the map during the node creation process is to actually click on the map and move the marker. it doesnt seem to be converting the address into lat/long and putting a marker on the map.
i have the map set to be displayed on node and teaser view and when i view either i get no map....i assuming this is because there is no marker on the map.
what have i done wrong. i have enabled gmap input format under filtered html. enabled all the modules. enabled the content type to have gmap location.
any help would greatly be appreciated!!!
on a side bar.....for this content type i was previously storing location info just using the location module. it seems that gmap adds another location fieldset.....does it not capture the info already entered using location cck?
