I'm in the process of brainstorming on how to create a drupal based website for a design company I work at. I'm am curious as to what other people have created for a similar services website.
Currently we use quickbooks to keep track of projects along with costs, invoices etc. when designs are done, we post them on pages that the client has a link to, and for web design work we post a link to the files. (each client has a folder on our server where we post all the work for them). Clients pay via check or paypal and payments are entered into quickbooks.
We would like to implement project management, invoicing, ecommerce for payment of services all within drupal to help with portability and to minimize the need to go to different places/programs for different tasks.
For project management, we've been looking into working with storm. With each client being able to see their projects/tasks
We are looking into using UC for payment methods but not sure if this is overkill, and also unsure of how to connect this with storm.
Clients will have a landing page of the work done for them.
Ideally, Admin/authorized users can upload finished work to a clients 'workspace' and that client will be able to see the work on their landing page.
