I recently started using Drupal 7 for web design and development and while I can put a fairly reasonable site up, I am struggling with the learning curve on some of the modules.
I am in the process of trying to build a site that in addition to standard things such as forums, blogs, pages etc. includes the following.
User Profiles ( in addition to the user login )
Ability to search these profiles based on geographical location or fields within the profile
Ability to review and rate these profiles
Ability to add and search for events
Subscription model, with various levels of subscription for the users that have profiles
Ability for users with profiles to sell products
Ability for users to set up their own groups and manage them, using organic groups
This is not an exhaustive list, I'm sure I've forgotten some elements of what is required.
Ideally, I'm looking to develop the site myself with the aid of a 'mentor', who will be paid for their assistance.
However there may also be some customisation of existing modules or new modules required. This would be done by yourselves, and I'm happy for it to be made public.
I have an existing theme and I'm fairly comfortable with it as it stands but some more bells and whistles would be nice.
