Hello, I have installed Drupal 6.16 in a hosting account. My website address is http://testsite101.000a.biz .
I have some doubts related to creating custom pages.
1) How do I create a custom static page as homepage. I want to remove recent posts and comments that automatically appear in the content section of home page. I have an iea of using a image in the content section with links for registering n the website. How to do so?
2) A user who is not registered in my website clicks on the link http://testsite101.000a.biz/node/add , an error page saying " you cannot access this page or access denied" is shown. How to change that to a custom page?
3) When a user register, it takes more that an hour to receive the confirmation and password. How to reduce the delay time.
4) In the above said website, the primary links named "CREATE CONTENT","REGISTER" and "REQUEST TO ALL VISITORS" are being displayed on all pages. It is awkward seeing "REGISTER" link appear even after logging in. HOw to display certain links in certain pages and others not to be displayed.
