In Drupal 6, I was using the Audio module for audio content for a church website.
In trying to move to Drupal 7, I am now looking to use MediaElement for sermons, and possibly MediaFront for music.
Anyway, there are a few things I've not yet found a good way to handle which the Audio module took care of automatically. They are:
- Getting the MP3 ID3 information from audio files, and making them usable in the fields of a Node. So if someone has a suggestion for that, I'd greatly appreciate it, but that's not the subject for this question, really.
- (this is why I started the thread): With the Audio module, you could show the number of "Plays", and the number of "downloads". Is there any way to show that either via a taxonomy term or else a content field.
It may be that I'm missing something simple. I did find the Statistics module and settings, but it seems to only track the times a specific Node is opened, not the Media content within the node, and that is what I am after.
