Hey everyone,
Presently, there isn't such a module yet for D7, and the maintainer of Userpoints Ubercart for D6 had mentioned that he intended to do a rewrite of the D6 module due to the inherent bad code, so I think doing a direct D7 port of the current D6 module may not be a good idea.
I don't need a lot of functionalities that currently exist in the D6 module.
What I need is:
1. an integration of Ubercart + Userpoints in order for me to automatically award 1 point for every $1 spent (excluding shipping). That's it. I'm guessing this would be done via Rules once the integration is complete?
2. Also, I'm not sure if this would fall under the scope of this Ubercart + Userpoints integration, but I'm also looking to implement a tiered membership based on the points garnered. For instance, the tiered membership would look something like:
0 - 999 points - 5% discount (Rank Name 1)
1,000 points - 1,999 points - 7% discount (Rank Name 2)
2,000 points - 2,999 points - 9% discount (Rank Name 3)
etc.
What I intend to do is to provide a permanent discount to all items based on their "rank" in the tiered membership (which I'm guessing would require User Roles + Rules). Not sure if this would fall under the Ubercart + Userpoints integration, or it'll be a separate module or customisation, so please let me know.
I'm looking for developers who are familiar with Drupal 7, Ubercart 3 and Userpoints. Please contact me and provide me with the cost and your timeline for this project. You may choose to do just #1 above.
Your module MUST pass the Coder module and follow the Drupal coding standards. Ideally, when this module is completed (with or without #2 functionality above), I would prefer this module to be made available to the rest of the Drupal community (sponsored by me) - I'm not sure what you would intend to do, but you could either be a co-maintainer of the existing Userpoints Ubercart module for the D7 version or create a new project of your own.
My own personal timeline is to have this completed by mid-January 2012, but the earlier the better. :)
