Hi everyone,
The Municipal Library Consortium of St. Louis is looking for possible developers to redesign the MLC site and the sites of the 9 member libraries. We will be applying for a grant to do this project so right now we are looking for bids from contractors so we can get some ideas for our proposal's budget. We are open to working with someone or a company outside the St. Louis area.
A few notes on what we want:
- A central MLC site with information and resources common to all of the libraries and a calendar for all of the libraries with filters available to sort by library, type of event, etc.
- Each library site with a similar structure but maintaining a unique feel/look and current URLs. We are not library branches, rather a consortium of independent libraries, and so maintaining our individuality is important.
- Design based on the work I've done redesigning the Brentwood Public Library website.
