Hello all,
I've had a Drupal developer/"expert" pretty much walk away from completing the final steps in getting my IT services site going. He did most of the shopping cart integration (UberCart) and site construction, but has left many little unfinished parts to it. He swore that he was a skilled developer and from his resume, it looked to be the case. Seems his business ethics need some work.
I would like a new developer to have been skilled and working full time in Drupal for a minimum of 1 year. This person would have skills in properly configuring modules (no custom ones needed), site configuration, and also shopping cart experience. As I say above, we use UberCart, so experience with that is a necessity. Developers who also have a background in site security would be a plus. This guy claimed that he was a security expert. I want to make sure he hasn't stuck a trojan anywhere that will enable him to remotely access it post completion. I would also like you to work with my current Drupal themer to finalize the overall design.
The site presently sits on his hosted servers, so he would tarball it up and send to the winning developer. I would put the site back on my original ISP (SiteGround) and give the new developer SSH access.
