Diggit Drupalextras

For the website I'm working on, I'm using the ipbwi module to integrate drupal with our Invision board. So what this module does (if somebody doesn't know) is create a new user in the drupal database based on the user's forum account. Unfortunately, this doesn't work the other way around, so I was wondering if it was possible to change the login block so that the register link would just send user to the forum registration page, instead of telling them to go to the forums and registering there. Thanks for any help!
