ok so this is what I did:

i'm newbie and it seem that i have install fckeditor correctly in wysiwyg module.

I've got two thing when i go to site configuration-Wysiwyg :

Filtered HTML : no editor or fckeditor 2.6.5
Full HTML : no editor or fckeditor 2.6.5

to i have to select both to fckeditor?

I am using the above module. I follow the configuration instructions, but I dont get the Insert Templates option. Can anyway help

- click "edit" to set up your editor profile

- under "Buttons and Plugins" you'll see "Insert Templates" as a new option

How or where do I get a teaser break (!--break--) button in the fckeditor that works with wysiwyg API? Reading through the forum and elsewhere, it seems there's a drupalbreak plugin somewhere, but there's also a lot of vagueness (not just on my part) as to which version of fckeditor this applies to, and whether it's the stand-alone module or the editor that works with wysiwyg API. I'm sure the solution is simple, but apparently, so am I. Advice is welcome. Thanks.

Drupal 6.15, Wysiwyg API 6.x-2.0, Fckeditor 2.6.5

First time Drupal user here. I successfully installed the CKeditor, IMCE, IMCE Wysiwyg Bridge, and WYSIWYG modules I think I have them setup correctly. I can use the editor and upload files, but I get two WYSIWYG editors instead of a single instance. I can disable the FCKeditor and yet I still have a WYSIYG editor and it works properly (just looks wonky) and upload files.

Any ideas?

Also I want/need to be able to place the uploaded files in a directory for each user. any clue as to how I can do this?

I have installed FCKeditor. No problems. With FCKeditor I can not change font sizes, colours etc. Also the alignment as centre shows correct in the editor but not in IE8.

I then installed Wysiwyg and Tinymce. Wysiwyg shows that it is installed, but do not show it under Editor (it displays No Editor in light grey).

With this it is not opening when I do edit.

Can somebody tell me what is wrong?

I have tried Nicedit. That shows as a editor under Wysiwyg, but when it opens, only a thin column appears, not a full screen.

This is a great module and integrates very well with the core Drupal filter functionality.

I like the fact that you can run different WYSIWYG's at the same time.

What really makes this module shine is the ability to set the WYSIWYG interface. For example, in the FCKeditor module you had to create/edit your own toolbar in the fckeditor.config.js file the WYSIWYG API allows you to just check which buttons you want shown.

i have installed drupal 6.16 and some modules , like cck , image related etc.
I have installed IMCE , imce_wysiwyg (brigde with wysiwyg) and wysiwyg modules which are latest and suits to drupal version.

I have enable all (IMCE , imce_wysiwyg (brigde with wysiwyg) and wysiwyg) modules.

I have set the default Sample profile to both user roles , authenticated and anonymous.
