After having developed a Drupal site on a development server running PHP 5.3.x it was brought to our attention that the version of PHP running on the production server is 5.1.x. Is there any way to downgrade the PHP version post installation?
I have a bunch of this error when I ran my site locally:
Function ereg() is deprecated in C:\xampp\htdocs\testsite\includes\file.inc on line 895.
I'm using xampp. I also encountered this with WAMP and the only thing I have to do is downgrade the mysql and php version to fix it. I can't seem to find a way to do this with xampp. How do I switch versions?
*While we're at it how do I go about creating a sub-domain with xampp? Example: testsite.localhost.
I've been looking around the forums, and I am a little confused. I have determined that the functionality that I need is in "multigroups". What I can't yet determine is if "mutligroups" is an option for a Drupal 7 install, or if I should downgrade to Drupal 6?
From my searching it appears that multigroups are available in the "cck 3" module, something referenced commonly in the forums, but can't be found in the "Modules" section.
I updated Drupal 6.x to 7.x yesterday, but the website was totally messed up, and I couldn't even see the administrator's page, plus a bunch of error messages like "Notice: Undefined variable: head_title in include()" :-(
Then I regretted doing this, and tried to downgrade Drupal to 6.x. But after I deleted the Drupal 7.11 files and uploaded the Drupal 6.25's files, I could no longer access my website in browser. Any help is appreciated xD
I've done some research. Turns out Drupal has issues with PHP 5.3. When I try to edit any of the views it returns a ajax error. So I'm guessing I have to downgrade to php 5.2/ Can anyone explain how I do that and get it to work with Drupal? Right now I'm using xampp. WAMP won't even work anymore. So I switched to xampp. Everything works, but it's using php 5.3
