Hi I'm new to Drupal, I'm having a little trouble with my Views slideshow pager. I searched but couldn't find a similar question.

I want the pager in one of my views to allow the user to only click through the different slides I've created. Right now, clicking on a pager item takes the user to the node for the content of that slide rather than just switching slides and staying on the current page/node.

Do I need to write a custom pager, or is there a way to turn off the pager links and have my view only show the slides and not link to node content.

I have a views slideshow enabled, and cycling through the right number of images. However, I'd like to have a pager consisting of 'Content:Title'. So I went into my views and clicked: 'Format:Settings', and selected 'Top Widgets:Pager'. Since the 'Pager Type' was 'fields', I selected 'Content:Title' from 'Pager Fields', and finally clicked 'Apply (this display)'. After saving the entire view, the pager is still not being displayed.

Im creating one content slideshow in drupal 7 using views. I finished it well. But I need to display horizontel numeric pager in bottom of the slideshow. I used 4 contributed modules for this task. There are

1.views
2. view slideshow
3.ctools
4.libraries

How to create numeric pager?

It is possible to override a specific pager for a specific views using a theme function in your template.php file. Here are the steps needed:

Theme Views Pager Step 1

No matter how you want your pager to look, make sure to select mini pager within views. This will allow you to take advantage of the views pager theme hook patterns. I was unable to get this to easily work when using the full pager.

Depending on how you want your pager to look, you can start with either the code that produces the views mini pager or views full pager using the options below.

i need to show the slideshow using pager and also display the image details. view slideshow module is run perfectly in my page but i expect the pager slideshow. i seen the view module given a jQuery Cycle Custom Options ,how to use it and what purpose we use.

I am trying to put my imagecache thumbnail preset into a views slideshow. I am using the slideshow as a gallery page with thumbnails and a main image area. I can't figure out how to make my imagecache thumbnails the thumbnails used in the view. i have tried adding a field and selecting the image cache thumbnail but it just displays below the main image area as another field. I also went into the slideshow settings but the only choice i found for the pager was pager or thumbnail and the thumbnail was the default which distorts images. Please help. Thanks!

I just faced a strange problem with pager when overriding views templates.

THe pager disapear until I give it a pager ID even if I have only one pager on the page.
For me, giving an Id below 20 isn't working. The pager isn't shown.

Giving an Id of 20 shows (even if the pager but the url are weird as discussed elsewhere around)

I've successfully installed Views Slideshow and I've added a slideshow pager. Unfortunately I can't get the pager to be positioned where I want it to be positioned. I'm using FireBug (which has helped tremendously with learning css), but I can't figure this one out. When I adjust the padding/margin properties of the pager, it's doing some weird, unexpected things.

Using D6, I have installed Views(6.x-3.0) and Views Slideshow(6.x-3.0) -- For the Pager options, when creating a slideshow, under the 'Pager Type', I am expecting to see "Thumbnail", I do NOT see it.
