Hey all!
We just launched a grant proposal at the Knight Foundation News Challenge (http://bit.ly/4mLkOh) and we would really love to have feedback on our proposal from the Drupal community since this project aims to really extends the possibilities of what can be done with Drupal, in a web 3.0 or "web squared" environnement!
If you are interested in the topics of information management, social agregation, information overload and community-based news networks, it would be great if you took a minute or two to read the proposal and to give us some feedback!
Here's the essential concept for faveeo.com in three sentences :

Faveeo is a community-oriented social content recommendation system that will help local communities get the pulse of what matters in their community, by easily accessing information that is automatically aggregated and organized in a per-community and per-topic basis. The difference with other systems, is that on faveeo.com users don't have to actually post links to share with others! The community-based social recommendations are purely based on "user to user" trust systems and on interactions of faveeo.com with several parts of the web, like Google Friend Connect, Facebook Connect, Twitter, etc."
