Hello,

I have created a 3-language website, and when I started to develop menues and translate them, I faced a few problems I can't resolve by myself.

I am using locale, content translation and the language switcher block (with Icons) to provide English and French content of my site.

While the language switcher in node links work once (directing the user to the appropriately translated page), they do not seem to permanently change the language even though '?q=fr' remains in the URL. The next page they visit defaults back to the English version of the content rather than translated content. The same applies for the language switcher block.

I'm working on website with 2 language , Everything is okay and I did not faced any problem, Only one problem with Primary links.
I have Primary links menu has 4 Item(Home, about us, sitemap, contact us)

The primary language is English.
I create the menu as follow,
1- I went to admin/build/menu-customize/primary-links
2- I Add the 4 items and choose from language drop down menu "All languages".

I've set up a Drupal 6 site with I18n translations, and for the most part it's working perfectly. I'm using the Language Icons block to display language flags, and have hidden the language links at the bottom of the nodes.

I'm having one issue with the appearance of flags.

When I create a new node, it shows the language icons for all four languages my site is translated to. However, three of them will link to pages that don't give a very satisfactory result.

Is there a way to move translation links to the top right of each node,
rather than the bottom (mixed in with all the other links like 'comments', 'attachments')?

I need the translation links to be more prominent and styled differently to the other links.

My frontpage is set to node/7, which is an english node.
The url is domain.com/
When the user clicks 'spanish' the url changes to domain.com/es
It stays on the english node.
What *should* happen is that it displays the translated node at domain.com/es/node/8

Drupal 7 with translation helpers, Entity translation, Internationalization modules installed. I have configured the language menu and it works great, but the language list at the bottom of the nodes are all crossed out except when I select a different language than the main language of the site "english", then the "english" language link is not crossed out. I have translated the content of the node into all of the languages that I have enabled, but the links at the bottom are still crossed out.

I appreciate any and all help on figuring out why the links are crossed out.

I have a bilingual website and am using i18n to handle the content and menus.

I have created a menu and set it's block to show for all languages on all pages.

I have added 2 items to my menu. Each menu item's Path is set to an external URL.

item named "English" is set to English Language

item named "Spanish" is set to Spanish Language

Installed modules:
Locale (core)
Content translation (core)
Pathauto
Global Redirect

- Locale. Language negotiation: Path prefix with language fallback.
- "Story" content type. Multilingual support: Enabled, with translation
- Automated alias settings. Default path pattern:[title-raw]. All other automated options left blank.
- Node 1 "Test", english.
- Node 2 "Test", spanish version of node/1.

On the /node page it lists both nodes. Node 1 title link is aliased to "/test". Node 2 title link is not aliased and is "/node/2".
