Needing some help in changing Slate's colors

Hi all,

I'm new to this and really like Slate, but would like to change up the black/dark grey background to something more blue/purple. I'm aware that this would be done in the CSS (I've not got much experience there) and that it would be even better to put changes in my local.css file. As a test I put the following in my local.css:

html,
body {
     background: #fff

I'm aware #fff is white, but I've not seen any difference in my theme even after flushing the cache. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i created css clock at the file themes->pushbutton->style.css

I'm trying to figure out how to get the value "[name] => Washington" from below. field_an_events_state is a D7 field type "Term reference" that looks up the state from a taxonomy vocabulary. For a normal field, I can just do

print $content['field_event_country']['#items']['0']['value'];

But everything I've tried to get "[name] => Washington" from here fails me. This is in a node tpl file.

Hi all - Drupal themes are made of rectangles - but surely some designer must have created a more fluid, non-linear site design?!?

Hello,

I have recently been using the module webform. I have installed it just fine, inside the admin I have set up the forms I want to use.

The problem I have is in actually outputing the form in the HTML. In the node.tpl.template inside the $node or the $content there is no sign of the actual HTML code of the form. I can see the structure of the form in the $node as this :

I am trying to make my profiles with APK but have the issue that I get rounded corners with a white background (see attached pic). I cannot switch to Acquia Marina Rounded Corners style because APK seems to be fixed on its own style. My solution would be to change the background colour to white but I cannot figure out where to put it. I figured how to change the main wrapper to white but I only want to change the colour on profile pages.
