Drupal 6 Core and Managing News 1 week 22 hours ago

I'm hoping this is the right place to post this as it is pretty much a "hope you can" rather than "must have" question.

I have an existing Drupal 6 site on which I want to include sections for various types of news feed. I have found the Managing News profile from Development Seed and like it so much I would like to achieve either of two things:

a. Integrate Managing News' capabilities into Drupal 6, basically because I'm really taken by the look and feel, management of Managing News.

Complex RSS feed integration 1 year 37 weeks ago

hi guys,

I am using the feedapi module to create news nodes on my drupal site, site#1 from an RSS feed from a second site which is not Drupal based - called site#2.

At the moment I just get titles and body content for each news item generated by the RSS feed.
But I want to integrate via cck, the time the news item was created in site#1 into the news node on site#2.

Also, I want to do something similar with images.

Can anyone help ?

Is it possible to give someone rights to edit a page or not based on it's URL?

For instance, if Joe is in charge of the news section, he can edit anything under site.com/news ... but not site.com/games

Or am I thinking about this wrongly
