Hi.
In an English Drupal installation, I added Spanish language and enabled the Language Switcher block.
I also configured the language negotiation option to be "path prefix only".

So far so good, the Language Switcher block works as expected.

I have a (stupid) question:

I now have a website with pages, which have translations, so for example the frontpage is: /nl/home, /en/home, /de/home and /fr/home.

If I enable the language switcher, I can choose a language. The language switcher appears in the header.

Well, the problem is, if I am on /nl/home and I take EN, I am redirected to /en instead of /en/home.

How can I change this?

Hello. I select "Path prefix with language fallback" in the language configuration page. I activate "Language switcher" block.
And now language switcher works fine for amin (#1), but anonymous users can't switch language. For example, user from UK see uk-version, but can't switch to EN version.

I got a (basic page) content on my site in two languages (useing the translate tab). When i'm on the frontpage, switching languages with language switcher works ok (got diferent nodes set up for frontpage). But when i browse to the basic page and switch languages, it switches everything but the content node itself (switching language by link below the node works right). What am I doing wrong?

However, when I select language switcher on the site page, the url displays "es" or not, but both English and Spanish content items. How can I diagnose what is wrong? How can I get just the one language display for each setting of the switcher?

Here's more detail of what I have done:

I am using locale, content translation and the language switcher block (with Icons) to provide English and French content of my site.

While the language switcher in node links work once (directing the user to the appropriately translated page), they do not seem to permanently change the language even though '?q=fr' remains in the URL. The next page they visit defaults back to the English version of the content rather than translated content. The same applies for the language switcher block.
