I have advanced profile kit and avatar selection installed. I enable picture support. I have Force selection when editing profile and force avatar selection when registering. However, the avatar selection and upload image for picture only show up when registering a new user. It does not work when I edit user.
Even after the registered user selects a picture or uploads a picture, they can never change it again.
Very frustrating. Spent hours trying to figure this out. I'm sure its something stupid I did. Any thoughts?
I'm using avatar pictures and avatar selection module,
Is there a way to display the avatar form in a other user profile page, or in any other page ?
Can't find a way. The user setting page and profile fields don't have the option, and I can't override it since I can't find how call the avatar form programmatically.
Hi,
I need to enable users to select an image from a group of images in profile edit (Just like in Avatar Selection) but that image will not be an avatar of the user but an image of the users favorite artist (Profile Image of Artist content type) so that relevant content can be displayed.
Does anyone know of a module I can use or if I can tweak the Avatar selection module to work in this case.
I have avatar module and I went and checked the option where automatically sets a default avatar image to be used when the user doesn't set one for their account. However, for some reason it's not assigning any default images it also allows users to delete default avatar without choosing their own. Is there a way to fix it so the user always have avatar, even default one assigned to him and he either has to choose one or leave the default one in place.
Hi,
I have Advanced Forums and Content Profile modules installed on a website for teachers to discuss the advancement of education. Content Profile is allowing me to create great looking profiles. Advanced Forums is making the forums quite nice.
Problem: I can't figure out how to show the Content Profile avatar instead of Drupal's core user image/avatar with Advanced Forums module. With the current set up, new users can edit their teacher profile by clicking the 'Teacher Profile' tab. But to set the avatar image, they have to click the 'Edit' tab.
This is one of those modules that you never knew you needed until you try it. I have multiple sites that look the same and I have a few things to help me spot which site I am on ,but using this is a great help. Simple works out the box and no hassle. Great Job!
Michelle did a great job in building this module and still puts great effort into it. If you want to have nice looking profiles you HAVE to use this module. If you understand it, it is really great.
BUT you need to have basic understanding of Panels to get this thing to work. Not the easiest module but very manageable and simply irreplacable.
Currently I am working on a website registration page and I want a new user to select a default avatar from a given list if they have not uploaded a profile image while they are registering. I am using drupal 7 so avatar selection module is not compatible with this version so can you kindly suggest me some other way out
