I've downloaded the lastest version of privatemsg module in this Web. I'm dummy in Drupal, and i'm not a native english speaker, I'm sorry about my mistakes.

in the messages section provide by privatemsg module:

When one user recieves a new message and he wants to read it, and click on the subject of the message what happen is a new tab with the title "read message" is opened, and inside of this recent opened tab, the thread of the conversation is shown. This is awful.

Describing Tables to Views: Using your own custom database tables in Drupal Views

Goal: A custom module that describes the privatemsg module tables to Views.

Running latest Drupal v6.22 on Apache 2.2.15 w MySQL v5.1.47.

Upgraded to PrivateMsg from rc version to newest release. While I am able send pms and notification works, whenever the user views the new pms they get a blank screen and this error is in my Apache log:

I am using the privatemsg module. It works great accept when you send a message I need it to display some sort of a message so that members know that it was sent properly. Right now it just reloads the page. I need a message to display that says your message or email has been sent succesfully. IS this possible or anyone know how to do this?

Hey guys, just looking for a hand here, been struggling for a few hours. I have privatemsg installed. I have a list of content profile (important) nodes displaying with user information. The goal is to be able to check a few users from the list and get them all into the TO: field of a new privatemsg. I can't seem to be able to achieve this in a fairly clean way.

Does anyone know an efficient way to gather a user's new messages via privatemsg, and display it as a count? This would be on page.tpl.php

What I'm hoping for is my user panel at the top to have new message indication e.x. Username [x] x= # of unread messages.

After searching around with no avail, my gut tells me the best solution is to have it run a query. I was just wondering if anyone had any better ideas...
