Hi..

Im working on a site which needs multi language transulation.

I am using i18n ,internationalization, etc .

I want site in spanish, english.
i have imported es.po file

It translate drupal interface.

but it d'nt translate page content. I am following all step for i18n module

I have a prototype site working in English. I have installed modules 'variable' and 'i18n'. How do I add Chinese? For example, the first menu item is "Home"; how do I get it to appear as "首頁"?

There are two languages defined; English (the default) and Traditional Chinese. Both are (now) enabled.

I have a global website the reaches many countries with similar languages. It seem to me the i18n module only allows for 1 version of a language. So if I wanted to have US-Spanish and Spain-Spanish, I have a problem. Is it possible to use the i18n module to create custom language codes such as us-es and sp-es to accommodate the same language across different dialects.

I have a technical issue regarding use of different domains for different languages.

Right now there are 2 domains and 4 languages.
let's say site.be and site.com
en, sp, nl, ru

The default language on the site is English (en).
So I have:
site.be and site.com in English
site.be/nl and site.com/nl for Dutch
site.be/sp and site.com/sp for Spanish
site.be/ru and site.com/ru for Russian

I know I'm probably just missing something stupid.
I created a multi-language Drupal 6 site. I have the flags in the corner, but when I click on the Spanish Flag, rather than take me to my Spanish homepage, it shows the "Welcome to Drupal" page. I can then see the Spanish menus,and can click the Spanish home button, and everything works, but I'd like the flag to take me right there.

I have a Drupal site installed in English and in Spanish, with the language negotiation set to Path prefix with language fallback. I have 2 questions:

1. When I browse using a browser configured in English and login as a user with a language setting to Spanish, the site remains in English. It seems to me that it takes the browser language while, during login, it should take the user's preference.

In an English Drupal installation, I added Spanish language and enabled the Language Switcher block.
I also configured the language negotiation option to be "path prefix only".

So far so good, the Language Switcher block works as expected.

The main issue is if your module creates a drupal path using hook_menu and you link to it and set the link's language with i18n it won't abide by that and the link will show for all languages regardless.

Eg: If hook_menu had a menu item like
$items['example-path-here'] = array(
'title' => 'Some Menu',
'access callback' => TRUE,
'page callback' => 'ftshoppingcart_show',
'type' => MENU_CALLBACK
);

Since the beginning of the development of my website, i've installed i18n, and change the default language as spanish.

My problem is that some pages are in " english ", others in " spanish ", and others in " neutral language ".
I would like that all of them are " neutral language "

Is it possible ?
