I can't login on a site I'm working on at all. I've tried searching endlessly for a solution, but have yet to come across one.
I've tried setting the $base_urle and $cookie_domain variables in /sites/default/settings.php

When I visit the login page, I'm able to enter the login info, and I'm directed to the correct url (user/1, in this case) but, the content of that page is "You are not authorized to access this page." I know the info I'm entering is correct, because when I try entering the wrong info I'm returned to the login page and informed that the info is incorrect.

I have a Drupal 6 site and have recently found people complaining that when using FireFox they are unable to login, use the contact form or other other similar activity. The problem being that they can't type anything into the forms, it's not hidden or the same colour as the background, they simply can't enter anything. I've tried clicking in the fields, entering data and clicking submit but Drupal verifies that I must input some data. Navigating the site is fine, I can click, browse and view everything.

I typically have a Firefox 3 session logged into my administrator account to the Drupal 6.13 site I am developing. After system or Firefox restarts I am automatically logged in. Twice now I noticed that I had a login prompt. When I enter any one of my Drupal accounts/passwords, I end up back at the login. There is no indication of errors nor do I see any issues in the Drupal event log. If I type an invalid password, it is rejected as would be expected.

Hi! I am unable to login with firefox, I can with chrome and Ie.... it just refreshes the screen, and login box is as normal, or if in site maintenance just returns to site maintenance message....

I think we all know about the login/cookie/session problem with firefox 3 on drupal.my

I was called to make the fix and here is the chronology of the event :

Platform : MS Windows XP Pro SP3
Browser : 1. Firefox 3 (3.0.1)
2. IE7

PART A

1. najibx installed drupal V 5 as an addon in his shared hosting account. Some basics and advanced module and themes was installed.
2. the site running well but encounter login problem with firefox 3 user.

When I left my Drupal installation last week, this all was working still. I got a phone call however, that we were unable to log in. Now, I have changed nothing at all since then, and this problem pops up.

Hi, this is my first post and my I'm not sure it's in the right section so hope it's clear.....

I can't login to my site, when I enter my website's address, it takes me to the login page, I enter my information (am positive it's correct), and every time it redirects me to
an error page saying
"Server not found"
"Firefox can't find the server at node"

I am completely clueless, I have not been able to login even once and building a website this way is very new to me. Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated

This only started a couple of days ago and firefox would grind to a halt while I am working on Drupal. Installed on WAMP server on XP Pro, latest version of firefox. Would have to close down Firefox and then restart and it will be fine for about an hour and then start freezing again. Everything else still works as normal, so seems like a firefox and not a computer issue.

The site I am working on uses Acquia Drupal, plus Panels, Nivo Slider and CKEditor. The theme is a Zen subtheme.

Any thoughts please.

I would like to achieve the following on my site.
We have a block on our site which contains 2 buttons and 2 links. We need to have all 4 of them working pre-login and post-login. However currently all of them work post-login but does not work pre-login. Following is the result for testing done on different browsers Pre-Login.

IE7 & IE8 – Button 1 & 2 –Not Working, Link 1 & 2 – Working
Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari – Button 1&2 , Link 1&2 – Not working

Please let me know how I can achieve the buttons and links working Pre-Login
