Hey, i have no idea whats going on and i am considering suicide

i am new to drupal, help me out, i am dieing out here. it should be easy to fix for you

heres whats up:

new domain, new mysql db, new drupal install = perfect
uploaded the acquia marina theme = Broken Image on theme screenshot display i notice first, then
changing theme from default to Acquia Marina = White Background. so w/e i do
changing garland theme color from default to any color set ex. Ash, Olivia = White Background

i checked the logs, i see tons of 403 errors

I installed Drupal 6.19 yesterday.
Created a 'themes'-folder under sites/all
Added 3 new folders in this themes-folder :
- acquia_marina
- fusion
- skinr

The 3 themes are enabled.
Acquia_Marina is checked as default theme.

Most of the items on my pages are green and blue.

The block titles are dark grey on a light grey background.
Any idea how I can get the block titles white with green background ?
Also the icons are missing, e.g. icon-star.png. I can find the icon-star.png in the Acquia Marina-folder.

Lets's suppose I have downloaded the theme "footheme" to my sites/all/themes directory, and need only simples CSS changes and a few tweaks on the page.tpl.php template file. Now I have two options:

I am trying to make my profiles with APK but have the issue that I get rounded corners with a white background (see attached pic). I cannot switch to Acquia Marina Rounded Corners style because APK seems to be fixed on its own style. My solution would be to change the background colour to white but I cannot figure out where to put it. I figured how to change the main wrapper to white but I only want to change the colour on profile pages.
I tried changing

I have installed skinr(6.x.15) and fusion-6.x-1.0-rc1 in sites/all/modules and sites/all/themes and enabled them.
Then I have installed acquia_marina-6.x-3.0-beta1 in sites/all/themes and enabled it as default. But
General Theme Styles didnot work. The blocks and headers have some pale blue and white colors. However the buttons and searchbox are a bit different from my default 'Garland' theme. But the overall theme is appearing as plain vanilla.I am using drupal 6.17 on windows XP. Tried the followings also--

1. Tested with non IE browsers (Opera and Mozila).

I am almost done with modifying a theme to my own customization - but am stuck with three items which I can't seem to find their color to change. I've searched through the files (both CSS and PHP files) for the strings of those colors - but can't find them.
I've modified the Marinelli theme.

So my friend dismissed her previous webmaster, her hosting provider, registrar and domain name and tossed me a CD with "everything on it". I'm new to Drupal.

am using Drupal 6 , Acquia Marina , i modified the theme using the style sheet for all my requirements.Now i got stuck in one requirement which is to change the background color(white) of tabs or (menus). Theme shows white color at the back ground of tabs but i want to change the color .I have searched through the style.css but i cant find it.. any idea?

hi,

i'm editing my css and whenever i attempt to change the following to have a transparent or image background, it changes both the odd and even to a gray background. is there anyway to specify no background color? simply removing it doesn't work.
