I've just enabled the simplenews module and tweaked the settings for it.
Access control has been set so that anonymous users can subscribe to newsletters.
The newsletter block has been enabled to display in one of the sidebars.

The problem...

Being logged in as Administrator I can see the block and can click on the 'subscribe'/'unsubscribe' buttons.
Checking the newsletter subscriptions list, I can see I was able to subscribe, remove and subscribe again.

I have the simplenews subscription block on my home page. Anonymous users can enter their email address and hit "save" and they're supposed to be added to the subscription list. The email address receives a confirmation email saying that they've been added, but when I login as admin and check the list, it doesn't show the anonymous user on it.

If i'm logged in though and click "subscribe" everything works as it should.

I have checked all the permissions and anonymous users are allowed to subscribe.

Any idea what's going on?

I have customized simplenews.module to blocking forever unsubscribed emails for legal reasons.

It creates a blocked user with mail=$mail and name=$mai when unsubscribe a user only if doesn't exist user.

When subscribe email (via mass or via subscription in my newsletter) if blocked user with this email exists it doesn't subscribe it.

I used module (simplenews, simplenews_register, simplenews_register_block). I tested register email subscribe. so, I was created a newsletter and i send to subscribe email. I go to "Content management \ Newsletter \ Subscriptions but not see email have just subscribe. Please help me, when a user subscribe the email will mass to subscription and when I create a newsletter, I can send it to all user subscribe. I want write a newsletter module for drupal.

i need a simple email entry field on the web site that people can use to sign up for a newsletter. i think the mailing list basically needs a way to subscribe and unsubscribe and thats it.

im looking through choices now but im kinda confused. i assume the mailing list is a separate module from the actual sending out of the newsletter. do i need to pick a combination that work together? any newsletter module that allows me to send HTML email to all subscribed members of the mailing list is fine.

I am at my wits end trying to configure simplenews form field. Well... actually I've got it to display like I want(just an input form with a image_button for submit button), yet the functionality is breaking. I will list everything that I've changed in the module here.

i need mailing list modules, so when i have new product in my ubercart ecommerce, all customers who registered / subscribe to the mailing list, can get the update of the new product... how can i do it with drupal?? is there any modules which can send email to registered user??

I wanna know, or howto, select all the options in a select list, like a select all.
I 'm using the notifications module, when i add a subscription, i need to select (for example) a content type to subscribe, that is display in a select list, if the user want to select all the content, he need to subscribe one by one to have subscription to all new content type that the page publish, for that, i wanna add the "select all".

Hey, what's the best setup for a simple mailing list form? I want the user to simply click something like subscribe to our mailing list, fill out name and e-mail and submit. I don't want them to create an account and there should be an easy way to unsubscribe.
Do I need 3rd party software or to do this or is there a module and method you can suggest?
