I m tasked to create (or better yet incorporate if available) a thumbs up / thumbs down widget that will display the percentage of people who have voted for a particular item.

Logic wise it would be fairly simple, users can vote on a node, a thumbs up adds 1 to the total vote score and total votes. A thumb down adds 0 to total vote score and 1 to total votes. I take the value of total votes divided by total vote score and express as a percentage.

I would ideally like to be able to sort the nodes (that are rated) by total votes and best percentage of thumbs up.

I am currently using a view listing all nodes of a content type in a table. I am already using the Extra Voting Forms Module for a Voting system allowing you to approve of a node (+1 only: no disapproving is allowed). But the respective Voting Widget is only shown on the full node page, not in the view that lists all the nodes.

How can I show a voting widget (e.g. a thumbs up button or something similar) in every line of the view, for every single node? The widget should also show the current overall score for the single node.

I would like some custom voting buttons under my content type. I have set this up already using the thumbs up/down module and rate module.

But I would like to have different images and text for the voting widgets. I tried editing the images in photoshop - but the problem is I need them to be bigger and when I made them bigger they were all over the place, I tried editing the css and php files but I didnt know which ones to edit and the whole thing became a big mess - so I had to scrap that and start over.

I have the rate module installed and am using the thumbs up widget.

I wish to use a custom image and text in place of the 'thumb' and 'up'.

I need both the text and image to be clickable, so if i change the image and text using css it doesn't work.

I have tried :
.rate-widget-class:after {
content:"my text";
}

but this renders the text as only plain text and not the link.

I think i have to override it in template.php file, but am not sure how to.

I'm using OpenAtrium as a profile for my Drupal installation. I'm a total newbie with Drupal and OA. I do have a coding background (PHP).

I'm trying to understand the Vote Up / Down module. I have installed the module, and managed to get it working on nodes (blog posts). However, the themes that are provided for the voting widget seem to be broken. Only "Default" gives me the ability to actually vote on things. When I choose the Plain theme for instance I get only "x votes" displayed. The links to vote up or down and the images for that do not load at all.

Essentially, I'm seeking a "ranking" module that list organizes nodes based on the difference of "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" they receive. For example, if node A has 10 thumbs up and 2 thumbs down (10-2 = 8), it would be ranked lower than node B which has 9 thumbs up and 0 thumbs down (9-0 = 9). Since 9 is greater than 8, node B would be ranked higher on the list.

I hope that was clear. Any module suggestions?

I am looking for experienced developer who can create a multiple axis voting module (3 axis voting). The module must create:

1. a voting widget (ajax) that will be attached in nodes (administrator will select in which content types wants to enable the widget) and will give the user the ability to vote in one of the three possible values. Voting will be counted with points not with star rating.
Similiar with Like Dislike, but with three options.

2. Integration with views, in order to show in a block users who voted in every different axis.

Hello, I have created view called Top Facebook Shared, and it is work perfectly. I am also using the vote up/down module to voting nodes.

The problem which I have, is that "Top Facebook Shared" view display both counters - facebook shared and votes.
I need only one, faacebook shared, and i want to exclude voting widget form that view.

Anyone know, how to do that ?

I have a view (field output, page display) which has a fivestar/voting field. It has hearts users can click on to rate content from 1 to 5 hearts.

I've used Voting API / Fivestar on node content and the voting has worked great. People could vote and their vote was instantly reflected in the average on the widget (average vote: 4.2, YOUR VOTE 4.0). The number of hearts (or stars) they chose also changes color to show their vote.
