Hello,
I am trying to create a module for ubercart that will allow partial payments, a kind of, booking a product/ service. Presently with ubercart, one is required to pay the full amount to buy a product or service. There is a recurring fee module but that is not what I am after. In my scenario where the product or service is costing more than 10000USD, customers may prefer to pay a partial amount as booking and pay the rest in person.

I have crawled the forums and only find discussion around issuing a coupon code at registration, not a UNIQUE coupon code.

The requirement is to pull unique coupon codes at user registration from the Ubercart-generated bulk coupon codes. Rather than pull from an additional table, I'm hoping there is a solution out there that leverages an existing module.

The site is running 6.x and Ubercart is able to generate the bulk codes via uc_coupon, no problem. I want to assign a unique code at registration of a new user and email that code to the new user.

Description:

A custom module for Drupal is required to modify the behavior of Ubercart upon checkout.

Logic:

A CCK field will be added to the Product Content Type that will contain the wholesale price per Product node. Upon checkout this price will be honored in place of the regular Ubercart Price field if the user is a member of the wholesale role. The wholesale field will only be visible to the wholesale role (Standard CCK fields permissions).

I have a small website and I'm starting to use Ubercart.

So far (before starting to use ubercart) I charge my users using creditcard, I give them a link to a company called "paycard", this link looks something like this:

I'm currently using Ubercart and with the Buy Now buttons for paypal. I'm only selling one product on my webpage and I'm trying to make it so that people can use redeem codes like for an iPhone app and it will automatically put a completed order in for them.

The coupon module doesn't seem to let me apply a discount to something without the cart page. I really don't want to use a cart page because of the extra steps. Does anyone know a good way of implementing this?

Hi,

I have enabled uc_coupon. i have also created a new coupon, but how will my users know about this coupon? will coupon not trigger a mail when i have added a new coupon? i also tried using restricted user so that at least to them the mails goes saying that "you have a gift coupon code" but its not triggering any mail. have i gone wrong somewhere? do i need configure something else?

plz help.
