I am trying to figure out a way to set the display format for an embedded video in teaser view to just link to the node, not play the video. just a thumbnail. right now all the thumbnails play the video just really small.

Drupalove.com has a similar format where the embedded video thumbnails link to the node instead of playing the video wen you click on it.

hi to all, do you know how to configure thickbox in order to play video on it?
does it need module or something to achieve it?
... what i want is when you click the thumbnail of the video, thickbox popup window will prompt and there is a video player (flowplayer) on it to play the video. (this video is uploaded using cck video file field)
please help.

I got page with embedded video field, viewing the page shows video black with buffering..., any idea why the local .wmv file is not played?

I'm having some trouble configuring the 2 together, what i'd like to do is have a "thumbnail" preview image of the video on my page, and when clicked, i want it to play the video in the lightbox as it's supposed to. i tried adding rel="lightvideo" to the embedded video code, but it won't play the video in it. i must be missing something, would anyone happen to know the proper configuration to get the two to work together? if flowplayer just isn't compatible, would anyone know of another flv player that can be used for commercial use that will work properly with it?

I have installed drupal 6 (last version) and the advanced Forum.
Everything works pretty well!!!

BUT: If i post a video (i habe the wysiwyg - api with tinymce and video plugin) and go to the topic, the videos starts automaticly to play..

when there are more than 1 video and every single one starts playing.. .. i think you know what i mean?

I am converting an existing HTML/CSS site to Druapl 6. The existing site has a flash video embedded using Vimeo.com. They provide simple embedding code which I've inserted into the HTML of my front page node. It works fine, except that it always appears to load the video upon page load, rather than displaying a thumbnail and then streaming the video down when the play button is clicked. I am concerned that the page will be penalised by Google's ranking algorithm because it is slow loading. Is this a valid concern ?

i am trying to create a page on a business site on which registered users may educate themselves about what is done by the company. this is to be done using video, audio, and perhaps some .pdf's with some of the documentation. obviously, since this is a business site, it needs to look clean and professional, i would like a video playlist in my right sidebar, and the audio and corresponding documentation in the body.

Hi guys I would like to ask on how to build a video carousel using the ddblock slideshow module?

I would like to embed some 3rd party videos that will automatically play when the video thumbnails is click and also it has a left and right navigation for choosing of thumbnails.

or any module that can accomplish the video carousel.
