Hi,

I'm currently using Drupal 6.15 (uses jQuery 1.2.6) and I need to use jQuery 1.3.2 for my theme beacuse some jQuery UI plugins (e.g. ui.tabs.js) require that one.

But if I use this jQuery 1.3.2 locally in my theme folder some other things like collapsible area, WYSIWYG editor etc is not working with this version of jQuery.

What can I do in this case to work with both Drupal 6.15 and jQuery 1.3.2?

After several attempts, I believe that I have a pretty good system/process for getting jquery ui to work with drupal 6.x. So I guess it's time to share :)

1. Check Current Jquery Version.
2. Update Jquery with Jquery Update Module
3. Download Jquery UI Module
4. Download the support files for the Jquery UI Module
5. Enable the Jquery UI Module

Seems the Jquery plugins site is made with Drupal.

Hi All,

I can't enable jquery and get the message "The jQuery UI plugin is missing. Download and extract it to your jquery_ui module directory. (Currently using jQuery UI Not found)" If I click the link provided in that message (http://code.google.com/p/jquery-ui/downloads/list?q=1.6) I can download jquery.ui-1.6.zip and extract it into sites/all/modules/jquery_ui. The extracted folder is "jquery.ui-1.6".

I need to use jQuery accordin and other jQuery UI plugins for my drupal project. By my original plan, I could include the plugin library for accordin at the page level to make it work. BUT, is there some Drupal way to add the jQuery plugins via drupal_add_js, and then use it within the Views? That is, ideally I can select the jquery UI Accordin plugin as a style from the Views > Basic Settings >Styles. Could anybody let me know if that is possible, and howto? Thanks! Huj

This http://plugins.jquery.com/project/cluetip/ very nice plugin, i created module that show in navigation menu tips, but found issue and vary surprised why it's happed. If i use jquery library from drupal cluetip not works, but if i replace jquery from cluetip package on drupal jquery plugin works but collapsible field no. anybody knows what the problem?

With the release of Drupal 7 imminent, can anyone confirm the final versions of JQuery and JQuery UI that will be packaged with Drupal 7?

Latest version are:
JQuery: 1.4.3
JQuery UI: 1.8.5

Also, if these are updated at a later date, will future releases of Drupal 7 be patched, or are they fixed for the duration (which I beleive is how it was for Drupal 6).
