2 sites one login.

Hi, im hoping theres an easy and cheap solution for this.

I have two websites, one built with drupal, one without.

When a user registers via my drupal site an account is automatically created on the none drupal site.

So once a users registered on the drupal site they can log into either of my sites. But the login only logs them into the single site. So if a user logs in via my drupal site they will not be logged in to my non drupal site. If a user logs into my non drupal site they will only be logged into the non drupal site and not the drupal one, so they have to log into each site seperately.

However, I would like it so the user can log into both via either log in, so if a user logs in to my drupal site they are automatically logged into my non drupal site, If they log into my non drupal site they are automatically logged into my drupal site, and when they log out they'll be logged out from both.

Im on a cheap budget here,so hope this is something that is simple to do.

Hi, I have two websites, one built with drupal, one built without drupal.

What I would like is when my user logs into either they are automatically logged into the other one, then when they logout they are automatically logged out of the other one. Is this possible?

How would I go about doing this?

I want to connect the drupal user system with our little erp-like system so that the user does not have to have to different user accounts. The goal would be:
- that the user can login into drupal and user the erp with the same login.
- that the user does not need to relogin when switching from drupal to erp or erp to drupal.
- that the user can use the same login for different drupal setups.

The site I am working with contains all private content, meaning that on the front page a "private" message appears and no content is accessible. When users log in, they are able to view all content.

What is happening now, when a user clicks on the "Search" link (in the secondary menu, but goes to the site-wide standard search form the following happens:

I'm looking for a module that will allow users to login on different pages made in Drupal using a single login (available only as part of these sites so an Open ID modules are not suitable).

Overall: I have 2 sites on different servers with different databases and different domains. I need a module that allows a user to log on to single site with the same login and password to another, or if you are already logged in at one, then the second will be logged automatically (eg via cookies). Additionally, the database will store the user profile data such as name, surname, etc.

Hi,

I'm running a site on Drupal 6.12 and have unchecked the user settings option "Require e-mail verification when a visitor creates an account".

I would expect then, after a new user registers on the website, they are then logged into the website. Instead, my users still have to login.

For the life of me, I cannot work out why... Any ideas?

Restricing authenticated users at a specific time 2 years 2 weeks ago

Is there a way to restrict access to a site at specific times?. I don't want to put the site off line, but I want to restrict users from login on to the site at a pre defined time of the day.
Also if there are any users logged in at the time when I don't want users to be logged in, they'll be automatically logged out.
The idea being I want to back up a busy site and I don't want to have users logged in and posting content when backing up the site.

Hi... sorry if my question seems a bit strange but I'm a newbie to Drupal 6.
Having installed both the rules & token modules I wanted to create a triggered rule so that when a user logs in he/she gets a welcome message on the screen. Therefore I did the following:
- activated both the rules & token modules
- created a new triggered rule:
* rules settings: label: user login, event: user logged in
* rule elements: on event user logged in: if user has role (admin, auth.user) do show a configurable message
