I am looking for the easist way to implement an imdb-like star meter for user profiles.

so, It would take a users profile and measures of popularity for people by certain criteria (# of user relationships, page visits, ect)
Sort of like what user-points do, but show as a "Ranking" and not a number. I also want the rankings are updated on a weekly basis.

Are there any modules out there that is capable of doing this? (Maybe some flavor of Voting API, or IMDB Voting??. Not sure.)

Voting Rules provides Rules integration for the VotingAPI module.
Administrators can configure actions to occur when a user submits a vote, when a user deletes a vote, and when the results of a vote are calculated. Currently, Voting Rules supports votes on nodes, users, and comments.

I was wondering if you can set up a search on your drupal site where you get results from multiple sites, is this possible? For example, the local results first, and results from other preconfigured sites below that, linking to where it was found.
And what if one of the other site is not a drupal site?

I am looking for someone who can customize any one of the existing voting modules that utilizes the Voting API. I just need the module to be able to allow for repeated votes in real time. For example, being able to just keep hitting the “vote” button on a node over and over to add more votes without having to re-navigate to the node.

I am using the Voting API with drupalit module to allow users to vote on nodes. I am working now on establishing views and am having a difficult time getting the number of votes to show up as a field. I have established the voting api relationship and have place a voteapi value in the field however even though the node has one vote it is showing the count as 0. Its like the connection is not being made or something. the site is on a local host...does this make a difference? any idea what is happening?

I need to implement the following voting-functionality. I'm not sure, what is a good way to do that:

Users should be able to vote for ideas (which is a content type).
A user has overall 3 votes.
He can give all 3 votes for one idea but also split up to 3 ideas.

Now I'm not sure how to do that.

The Voting API does not support granularity, as far as I could see it.
