I need to recommend a report generator which will be used to produce management reports from my client's database. It happens that the web site is written in PHP but not in Drupal, although it's probably going to be converted to Drupal at some point.

Hi, I'm rather new to drupal. I don't manage css or html or phh, but I would like to be able to customize mi own themes. I'm decided to learn all I've got to learn but I wanted to start well, so, I anyone reccomend me what to learn, the options on builing themes (for example I saw that the zen theme is a starting theme) and everything you think I should know to learn this great subject. Thanks for the help!

I have made a lot of changes to theme files, mostly *.tpl.php files in my Drupal 5 installation, and I want to upgrade the site to Drupal 6.

Can I expect to transfer the changes easily and quickly?

I'm considering learning module development in drupal, would it be feasible if I'm going to learn it to use drupal as a kind of framework for web development?

My criterias are:

-Easy to learn, as for my background, I've tried CodeIgniter, but I'd no experience building my own plugin yet
-would lead to simple and clean coding
-few lines of codes as much as possible
