I got these errors after passing the mysql fields (note that I failed first time, mysql user was misspelled):

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/xxx/drupal-6.14/includes/install.inc:188) in /var/www/xxx/drupal-6.14/includes/install.inc on line 618

I am installing Drupal 6.x in Windows XP (local for try), is my first experience. Can you help me with this error?

When I first install Drupal I get the following errors just after I have entered all the database connection information:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at D:\xampp\htdocs\drupal\includes\install.inc:188) in D:\xampp\htdocs\drupal\includes\install.inc on line 618

Trying to recover from some failure. Try to do clean install
and I see these errors

Warning: fopen(./sites/default/default.settings.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/cookin/public_html/includes/install.inc on line 188

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/cookin/public_html/includes/install.inc:188) in /home/cookin/public_html/includes/install.inc on line 618

After i input all the data base info and click Save and continue i get this error.

When i changed the /sites/default/settings.php back to /sites/default/default.settings.php id just brought me back to the second step.

I keep getting this message after hitting the Save and Configure button on the Database Configuration page and I'm unable to install Drupal.

Hey together..

i´m very very new into drupal, and i hope i get a part of this great community.

I have a problem with the drupal installation. The first problem was that i had to change the file default.settings.php to settings.php. But when it comes to give the Database a name, i get bunch of warning messages. I try to use "root" as Database Name, and get following error messages :
