My name is Simon. I am P.E. teacher with decent drupal skills but very limited knowledge about PHP/AJAX. I am looking for help from a web developer and am willing to pay money for this help. Here it goes:
I need help intergrating a booking application (PERL scripts) to drupal via AJAX calls. This comes in the context of an online travel agency for backpackers & student travellers.
The booking system is call TouristWay (www.touristway.com). According to the software's developers, TouristWay's XML API and SDK are very flexible and should integrate to drupal very smoothly via AJAX (or XML), providing some knowledge about integration processes...which is not my cup of tea!

I do own a download version of the application, which will be hosted on the same server than the drupal site. Unfortunately this is a localhost test site at this point, so i can't provide you with a live link.
Touristway's support site also offers a small tutorial on how to make a $.post ajax call to inject touristway data into a page. While i can make the demo work, i'm miles away from being able to make the integrations i would like to..
