Hello - I am a very experienced C++ developer, but am new to Drupal and have only done some small Drupal mockup sites (with some custom modules, stepping in with debugger to Drupal core, etc.).
I am considering a migration of a pre-existing site into Drupal as my first major Drupal project, but need to be certain it's doable.
The client has a membership-based website in which there are multiple paid membership types. Each membership type has access to a variety of file downloads. The paid membership types expire after a certain amount of time has passed and must be renewed.
Will it be easy to integrate the various Drupal components to implement this functionality? Specifically, I'm thinking of assigning each membership type to a certain role, and then somehow tying the role to Ubercart to manage "expiration dates" for file downloads.
