I have been playing with the relationship module and have been reading numerous post about the relationship module and get confused.
What I want is access based on a relationship. The general reply to post regarding this module is that it will not restrict access to nodes but rather grant access to nodes given the relationship.
What is the difference here??
My use case is such that you have a single site with a lot of users and those users can have a relation to eachother or not. Every user can post and decide who is able to see the node and who not. For instance, a friend or family member is allowed, people without a relationship not. Then, as soon as somebody without a relation is trying to read a node, access should not be possible. When a friend is trying to open the node it should open.
I thought that using the relationship module coupled with the invite module should do the trick but it seems not. After reading and reading post the same reply follows, "the relationship module does not restrict access but rather grant access based on the relationship". Well, grant access then only when there is a relationship ;)
Do I miss something here?
