I've used actions and triggers to send an email on content creation but know very little else about them and nothing about rules.
Can any combination of rules, actions, or triggers accomplish this?
I have a content type that contains (among other things) a user supplied email address and a integer field stored in a list box.
If the integer list box is changed to a certain value (in my case, 2) I would like to send an email automatically to the email address sent in the user field.
The email can be generic, but if possible I would like to reference other fields from this content type (such as name) in the email.
So can I accomplish the automated sending of this email to the email address specified in the email content field when the value of the list box is changed to a specific value?
