Diggit Drupalextras

Hello, my name is Weston Manerro and I am a Website Developer for Datapile Association. I have used Drupal on over 4 other customer's sites and at one point used Drupal on my own homepage. This customer requires a WYSIWYG editor to simplify editing. I have installed the WYSIWYG API Module and all dependent modules. I have tried TinyMCE and and FCKeditor. For some reason, these editors will display correctly, for example in a text box while creating content, and I can edit the text accordingly. However, when I post the content, it shows up with no modifications as plain text. I have no idea where to go from here. Any ideas?
