ok so this is what I did:
installed fckeditor and IMCE, but no browse button would show.
learned that I need wysiwyg as well.
installed it.
it wouldn't recognize the fckeditor.
copied fckeditor to the libraries folder of wysiwyg (as it suggested), so it found it.
enabled the editor, but no IMCE button would show under "button and plugins" in wysiwyg.
turns out I needed the IMCE bridge as well. installed it. enabled IMCE and image buttons under "Buttons and plugins"
but still no luck!
any suggestions please? spent a day and a half on this single issue already
